The rich tradition of real estate service and experience began in 1977 as Don Searcy completed his work as Nebraska's Director of our Nation's Bicentennial Celebration. Don was excited about a fresh new career in Lincoln Real Estate after combining his years of experience as Chairman of the Geography Department at the University of Nebraska -- Kearney and his campaigns for 3rd District Congress (where Tom Osborne later served) and a race for US Senate.

Off to a promising start in his new endeavor, Don's wife Gwen soon joined him in the business and The Searcys began a stellar career in Real Estate and community service. Don served as President of The Nebraska Realtors Association and the Lincoln Board of Realtors, and terms as Vice Chair of NIFA. Gwen contributed her leadership as President of the Women's Council of Realtors and participated in many Association and Board committees.

In 1990, Jeff Searcy joined his parents in the real estate business, and the "3-For-Your-Money" Team was not only to become a catchy jingle on local cable TV, but also a vision for an entirely new and successful concept in Real Estate. Now, nearly 20 years later, The Searcy Team has grown to become Lincoln's Leaders in Real Estate, with a full-time staff of service-oriented professionals and specialists working for you.
